Dr. Diab has received extensive training in Implantology during a three year periodontal and implants residency from 1994-1997 at the Medical College of Georgia. He has since placed thousands of implants and has extensive experience in the management of difficult and challenging implant cases. You always need to ask your dentist where he learned how to place implants. Also, ask your dentist if they use a CT scan for the diagnosis, treatment plan and placement of dental implants. Through continuing education, Dr. Diab is abreast of the most current information on implant dentistry.

3D CT Scan Imaging
As part of our goal to provide our patients the best dental care with the highest standards possible, we now have our own Kodak 9000 3D CT Scan machine in our office. This technology allows us to obtain high quality and high resolution three dimensional images to assist in the diagnosis and the placement of dental implants. This technology also aids in the diagnosis of fractured teeth and periodontal problems amongst other capabilities.
I.V. Sedation
Do not let your fear of dental procedures stop you from seeking treatment. Dr. Diab can perform all procedures under conscious sedation which means that you would be "asleep" while a procedure is being performed and you will have little or no memory of that time. As an alternative, Dr. Diab can also provide oral medications and nitrous to alleviate anxiety and nervousness as well.
